Privacy Policy

Overview
Score Pros (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the ScorePros AI platform at ai.getscorepros.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, and contact information when you create an account or contact us.
When you connect your credit report through our data provider, we receive normalized credit data (tradelines, collections, inquiries, public records, and personal information). We do not store your bureau login credentials.
We collect usage data: pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the platform for analytics and improvement.
How we use your information
To provide platform services: credit analysis, rules engine findings, AI-assisted guidance, dispute generation, and tracking.
To communicate with you: account notifications, deadline reminders, and support responses.
To improve the platform: aggregated, anonymized usage analytics.
Data security
All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Personally identifiable information (PII) is stored separately from analytics data. Our document vault uses expiring access links. Immutable audit logs track all system access.
AI components never receive raw credit report data — only normalized, whitelisted fields and rules engine findings.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: our credit data provider (to pull your reports with your consent), our print-and-mail provider (if you choose to mail disputes through the platform), and our payment processor (to process subscriptions).
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Data retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. After account cancellation, data is retained for 30 days for export purposes, then permanently deleted. Audit logs may be retained longer for compliance purposes.
Your rights (all users)
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You may export your data at any time from your account. You may opt out of non-essential communications.
To make a request, email privacy@getscorepros.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and the type of request (access, correction, deletion, or export). We respond within 30 days.
California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.100 et seq.), as amended by the CPRA, gives you the following rights regarding your personal information.
Categories we collect
- Identifiers: name, email, phone, mailing address, account username.
- Sensitive personal information: last four of your SSN (optional, for letter generation) and date of birth.
- Financial information: credit report data you import (tradelines, collections, inquiries, public records).
- Commercial information: subscription tier, billing email, transaction history.
- Internet activity: pages viewed, features used, interactions within the platform.
- Geolocation: approximate location derived from IP address for security and state-eligibility checks.
- Inferences: categorizations derived from the above (e.g., dispute strategy recommendations).
Sources, purposes, and recipients
We collect this information directly from you (signup, onboarding, in-app activity) and from your credit data provider when you import your report. We use it to operate the platform, generate compliant dispute letters you approve, track outcomes, provide customer support, and meet legal obligations. We share limited information with the credit data provider (only to pull your reports at your direction), a print-and-mail provider (if you choose to mail letters through us), a payment processor (to bill subscriptions), and our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel) who act as service providers under written contract.
We do not “sell” or “share” personal information
We do not sell your personal information for money or other valuable consideration, and we do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA / CPRA. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
Your California rights
- Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, business purposes, and categories of third parties with whom we share.
- Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal-retention exceptions (e.g., immutable audit logs required for CROA/FCRA compliance defense).
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to perform the services (which is what we already do — we do not use SSN-last-4 or DOB for any purpose beyond dispute-letter generation).
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share, but you may still exercise this right confirmationally.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any right above.
- Right to designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We will verify the agent’s authority before acting.
How to submit a request
Email privacy@getscorepros.com with the subject “California Privacy Request” and include: your name, the email on your account, and the type of request (know / access / delete / correct / limit / opt-out). We will verify your identity before acting on the request and respond within 45 days (extendable to 90 days for complex requests, with notice).
To opt out of any future sale or sharing, email the same address with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” This preference will be recorded on your account and honored even if our practices change.
